News, Events & Sales at The Yarn Basket

Longer days and shorter nights remind me that Spring is, once again, on its way. I am excited about our new yarns and patterns for Spring. I have added Blue Sky Alpacas "Skinny Cotton" in many luscious colors. It knits beautifully at 6 stiches to the inch/sportweight. Remember, we have the largest selection of Blue Sky yarns in NH! As far as I am concerned, all of their yarns are fabulous. I am also excited about CE and its new look that reflects Pam Allen's position as creative director of CE. The books have a new look and we have 2 of the new yarns - Cotton Bamboo and Soft Linen. Come in and see and touch!
For those of you knitting for men, XRX has produced a wonderful book called Guy Knits - part of the "Best of Knitters" series.
Remember, we carry all sizes of Addi Turbo Lace needles in all lengths - 24", 32", 40" and 46". And, as usual, we have loads of sock yarn.
